CALF DISBUDDING/DEHORNING
Safe and hygienic disbudding of young calves using local anaesthetic and sedation protocols where appropriate, minimising pain and stress.
TEAT SEALING OF HEIFERS
Pre-calving teat sealant administration for maiden heifers to reduce the risk of mastitis at calving. Delivered using strict hygiene protocols in consultation with your vet.
DRY COW THERAPY & TEAT SEALANT APPLICATION
Application of vet-prescribed dry cow antibiotic and/or teat sealant treatments as part of your dry-off program, improving udder health and reducing mastitis in the following lactation.
HOOF TRIMMING
Functional and corrective trimming to maintain mobility, reduce lameness, and identify early hoof issues. Performed on-farm using appropriate restraint and equipment.
ADDITIONAL SUPPORT TASKS
Our Large Animal Assistants also support a range of herd tasks including assisting with calf vaccinations, yarding, weighing and other routine procedures.
