Reproduction Services
From August to April we are busy welcoming and making new equine babies through the application of assisted reproductive technologies. Most reproductive examinations / treatments are conducted at the Large Animal and Equine Centre however can be performed on farm providing you have an equine crush. Reproductive services offered by the GVG Equine team include:
- Follicle scanning and ovulation induction
- Artificial Insemination (AI) – using chilled or frozen semen
- Pregnancy diagnosis and twin reduction
